COMPETIBLE
Matching people with animals — and the services around that life.

COMPETIBLE exists to get animals into the right homes. The product matches people with pets from shelters, foster networks, and vetted ethical breeders — then keeps the surrounding services in the same system.

The public product is Friends Furr-ever: search and matching across adoption, fostering, and responsible placement, with lifestyle constraints (rent, allergy, foster-only) treated as first-class filters, not afterthoughts.

Around that sits a marketplace for dog schools, veterinary services, sitters, supplies, insurance, and lost-and-found. The constraint is welfare: providers are meant to be verified, breeding is meant to be responsible, and the mission is the animal, not the listing volume.

I co-founded it. The work is product, systems, and the ethics of a marketplace that can do harm if it is built carelessly.

  1. 01

    Adoption and foster

Local shelter and foster listings designed to place animals, not just advertise them.

  2. 02

    Ethical placement

Breeders and providers filtered for welfare standards, not open-slather classifieds.

  3. 03

    Life around the animal

Vets, sitters, schools, supplies, insurance, and lost-and-found in one map.

  4. 04

    Welfare as a constraint

The product is judged on whether animals and people are better off — not on how many listings it can hold.
